the South of France

Join us as we head back to France to photograph some of my favorite sights in the south of France. Our trip centers around capturing the sprawling and unforgettable lavender fields right before harvest.

Included: Transportation during workshop, breakfast, dinners, soft drinks, snacks, water, accommodation, parc entrance fees in south of France, airport drop off on last day.

Day One - July 20

You will arrive in Marseilles and I will meet you at our hotel in Marseilles near the yacht club overlooking the inner harbour. We will meet for a light dinner and discuss the weeks plans before we head out for a photo walk during the night along the harbour in Marseilles.

Day Two

We will depart for old city of Arles before we end up in Gordes and the Abbaye de Senanque.

Day Three

Today we will explore the early morning scene of the Abbaye de Senanque before teh buses arrive and then head off to the Plateau de Sault and the surrounding Lavender fields, Olive fields, Vineyards and old farmhouses

After dinner we will go and photograph the sunset over Provence.

Day Four

We depart early for Valensole - Valensole is a very interesting little town built on the side of a hill overlooking a small river valley. It's located at the northern edge of the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon, on the Valensole Plateau, world famous for its large lavender and sunflower fields.

We will have models present during half of day four for you to photograph wandering through the lavender fields and sunflower fields in summer hats and summer dresses.

Another day in Valensole with the lavender and sunflowers.

Day Six - July 25

An early photo shoot again in the Valensole area before we depart for the Marseilles airport at 10:00am. We will have you at the Marseille airport for 12:00pm to catch your flights home.

Kevin A Pepper

Kevin is a photographer and educator based in Waterloo, Ontario. His first love is photographing nature, regardless of the season or weather condition; the Ontario landscape and its wildlife are his inspiration. But you will also see other styles of photography in his portfolio.
