This week on my blog we are discussing how to take better photos this summer. Today we are discussing how to protect your camera against sand.
Sand gets into every nook and cranny and can render a camera useless if you don't take precautions at the beach. Salt from the ocean is also very corrosive.
Sand loves camera bags - for extra protection, store your camera in a sealed plastic bag inside your camera bag.
Pack a blower to blow any sand off the camera body.
Make sure to pack baby wipes or something similar with you so that if you get sand or salt water on your hands Clean them off before picking up your camera.
